[ubuntu] Workspace shortcuts

Hello, I'm kind of new to this forum and to Ubuntu, so I hope this is in the right section and that I'm not breaking any rules by posting this here :P

I've been using Ubuntu for a while, and now I installed the latest version on my new laptop. The problem is that the cntrl+alt+arrow shortcuts is awful, not as it used to be. I see this:

WORKSPACE1 WORKSPACE2

WORKSPACE3 WORKSPACE4

instead of the screen switching automatically. Also I cannot drag windows from one workspace to another anymore. I really miss these features and I was wondering if something went wrong when I was installing ubuntu or if these features were removed in the latest update.

Cheers!

Edit: Maybe I should've mentioned that cntrl+s shortcut works, and every shortcut works but they work differently..when I choose one workspace with cntrl+s then I have to choose "what window on that workspace" I'd like to use. It's not as dynamic as it used to be!
